Great Companion, I would Definitely Agree!

You can call it way too early,11 weeks before i leave.
A farewell that i would call the night for, the best companion I have along in Metropolitan College.
I truly appreciate it. The trouble you that you guys try to make time up for me.

Roy rushing after work, Chris to delay 2 days later to return back to his mummy's arm,
the chauffeur Tian Soon, and Chris to pick and send me home when my house it totally out of the way.
From Klang and Subang is where they both from.
Khai Shin to pick such sweet colour of scarft for me, it's indeed sweet!
Rachelle and Pui Sin to arrange to book the dinner as well as the great dishes lay on the table for that night.
Not forgetting Alfred too, to accompany me to have the last jug of Heineken.
Most of all, the valuable time

They were the first batch of people i came to know since i stepped into this college,
located the the corner of the ss15 Subang street. Just next to the Kewajipan roundabout.
It was them who make me feel warm as i was there not knowing anyone at all.
I admit that i did not spend much time with all of you after entering the second sem,
when classes were no more the same with any of you.

Dinner was great, i love the dishes that was ordered.
Especially the shredded KaiLan that looks like its burned to me!
If you realize, remember the Kailan that came to me in the small plate never goes back to you chris!hahaha
Poor Roy, that came so late and to have the cold food we left for you.
I didnt know tat place was called Pantai Seafood when i'd been there two years back.

the silly-ness of ours reveal after that which i should not disclosed there. AHA!

Thanks for going to bed late, Kai Shin, Pui Sin who need to go to work the following day
hope you girls manage to wake up in time and not yawning at work!

Though it was just a short night but i bet it was the best them we had with each other.
Sorry if i make you guys overspent!!!

It was just a year and the half ago, but everything just felt like it was yesterday.
We love waiting for one another to go for lunch time, walking all the way either to the market or Uncle Sing where i would say it is REAL FAR!

I'd never stepped into the market since than!
and i miss the curry fish there :(

Remember once, i stayed back late in college and bump into you guys and headed for dinner with Chris, Roy and Kai Shin @ Pinkie. Yup, the vege dish that i told Chris i never taste b4 really shocked him when it was just a plain simple vege cooked with err...i cant remember the name but i remember the taste!

Tian Soon is known to be as the superb slow red jazz driver. AHAH! and the guy that used to go after crazily over Kai Shin!

Rachelle the Miss Brown

The funniest thing i would say is, before getting to know Alfred, each time we bump into each other in college we will tend to give each other a smile which BOTH OF US DONT KNOW WHY!

I may not be there for all the celebration you guys have for one another. Sorry:(

Really hope to see you guys real soon!!!

I'm gonna miss you guys dearly!

The girls: Pui Sin, Kai Shin, I and Rach

The group without ROY!

I SUPER ADMIRE her complexionFood of the night, almost gone!

Th companion i appreaciate!

2008

It was a pretty fast pace, almost marking an end to the year of 2008!
Flashing back what had I done throughout the year,
It was all fun, laughter, tears and sorrow. It was first, attending so many of my friend's 21st.
Melissa Tan, Wan Wen, Samuel Kam, Yee Way, Ming Shiu, Regina, Rachel

until it was my turn, i was a little bored of it already.
It also marks the age of stepping into the adulthood.
But i get the best present for the year too, besides my 19th birthday- my red myvi.
I remember over the conversation i had with ying roe,
she said 21st birthday is always over rated!
don't you guys agree with it?

Farewell for Su Ann, she will be back in a couple a weeks time.
This time round, will be welcome back girl!

Ying Roe and Khee Hong left too for studies :(

Also another year of traveling.
First to Taipei for the study tour trip.
It put us closer between choong yow and me definitely!

To get to know Kelly and Melissa and Aiman better as group members
Also to get to know more of others, Danny, Ken, Peter which are really nice people.
All the stupid stuff and conversation we had. An unforgettable 8 days tiring of tour.

than to Redang, crystal clear water with great snookering experience.
Got to make friends with puffer fish, starfish, baby shark
the infinite swimming from the sea back to the shore, which took almost my breath away.
The screaming of mine, the ko-ed of Richard and I on the first night,
the clumsiness of me leaving my flip flops all over the beach

WE SHOULD ORGANIZE MORE PEOPLE!

can we have another short trip before i leave than?

than to Hawaii, the most recent trip,
best scenery you could ever haf,

the sunset which is absolute.

RICHARD!!! it's wayway better than Redang!
Shall we someday? to Hawaii?

The breeze strolling enjoying the view.

the first dining experience in the cruise

The great food, stay I had.
relaxing, chilling, mind free place to get out of the routine.
Miss strolling on the street in the middle of the night and taking pictures withs strangers.
The unfamiliar place with friendly people there.

The SHOPPING TRIP!!!!!!!!!! is never enough.
i didnt bought enough.
which i regret so much
I wanna go back again some day.

Next, studies came along pretty well. with the 1st semester of doing good.
I'm so satisfied with the achievement i'd got.

Being a little over confidence for this semester which did not do good to me of course, hopefully, it goes smoothly too.

Currently enjoying the bits and pieces of time left in Malaysia,
to be in exact: 11 weeks left
mixed feelings of excited to get a whole new place
started preparing my stuff that needed to bring over.

luggage bag was bought a month back! can you imagine how excited i am now!!!

I don't know if I did do fullfilled my resolution for the year of 2008.
but i'd starting my list for 2009 resolution!:)

Wishing all Merry Christmas ahead!

it gives me the impression of feelings that im leaving for Perth instead.
Yeap, started with all my application already,
recieve offer letter currently. Will be processing with the medical check up and visa in order to the confirmation letter of enrolment.
hopes everything goes smoothly.

and I'm paying my tuition fees for next sem next week.
See how things works in a pretty fast pace.
In another 4 months times, I'm leaving to a whole new place.

but will be only allocated during dec.
GOSH, i have no idea will I be able to get to stay in with whoever i requested.

Bits and Pieces

It has been awhile since my last post, quite sometime indeed.
Mid semester was over! I shall not talk about it till the results are out.
but it was not a HuRRaYYY for me
Can you imagine immediately after exam and you're piles up with assignments and presentations?

Yes,
Marketing of Services- 2 Reading and 2 Mini case presentation
1 Poster presentation
Retail Marketing and Distribution- 2 case study presentation

I seriously find them tough, not tough to present, but tough to acquire those information. They are not found in the text book! :( I'm relying on them too much i guess!

Secondly, A superb hyper good news for me BUT not for you. Is that, I AM GOING FOR ANOTHER HOLIDAY!!! TO HAWAII- WAIKIKI BEACH

Envy me? no?

This is where i am staying- Hilton Hawaii Village, it is by the beach.
This is what i shall see from my balcony.
The best part is, My elder sister in Glasgow will be joining us too.
Another family trip.
I simply just love them to bits.
The last family trip was last year during my sis's graduation.
I think the next one would be my graduation at Australia.

It is my second time to the States!!!

But i have to skip a week of class,
which is just 2 weeks away from my finals.
I better make sure i work hard, even harder than last semester.
and head to Perth than!

I know that, I am having so much of holiday this year.
To Taipei, To Redang, and now to Hawaii.

Life's is just so good at times,
treasure them while you can!!
Hopefully everything turns out well!

My First Encounter

Each time i passes by the florist,
I definitely admire those flowers.
How sweet, how lovely they are.

I have even the thought of being the happiest person on earth when i saw a girl receives flowers from her partner.
This is how flowers, particularly roses meant to me.

The joy of receiving flowers.

But, it did not hit my mind. Totally never!
It was tough purchasing flower.
Going through the process.
Not knowing what flower to buy,
How many i should purchase,
What colour
What wrapper i would like them to wrap.
EVEN WHAT TIME TO DELIVER!!!!

I kept walking up and down, in and out looking at the flowers.
Worst, i realize i have totally no knowledge about flowers.
I know nothing.
I kept asking the guy what flower is that and that.
and what flowers matches with what types of "leaves" or the" grass" thing that compliment the flowers.
I'm picky!

If i did not manage to go through this experience,
I would not know how difficult task it is to pick flowers for another for any ocassion.
I think, I'll even appreciate more in future!:)

The puzzle of life

Right now,

The feeling in me.
I miss many many people.
Khee Hong, Su Ann, Eileen being named.

I Wish the three of you were here.

Eileen was with me throughout the rough time in my high school!
We have so much secret that is kept between us until today!

I can't forget the Pn. Toh's tuition days with her!
ngek ngek ngek

Khee Hong,
high school mate too.

Thou we do not meet up often,
but the bond within us are really strong.
He is really a nice person that was there each time i called.
Yea, he knows what i mean.
Haha!!!

Su Ann,
with her Oscar!
The time spent in the car and talked and shared and cried.
Left for Adelaide this early year.
She is getting horny nowadays!

Day 3 in Taiwan

It was a rather dreary morning for me as I do not enjoy and know much anything about the history. As planned, we headed to the Palace Museum. Yes, it is really impressive looking at those olden days’ utensils. Unfortunately, I do not know how to appreciate them. While waiting, started hanging out at the benches available out there to soothes and relax the discomfort of my feet that have been walking so much. It is the first time for me to sweat this much just like joining an eight days non stop marathon!

In the afternoon, Matthew group and my group decided to go to Dan Shui Village. From the Museum, we head off on our own by taking a cab down to the nearest MRT station and take a train down to the village. Dan Shui village port has scenic view. We have the opportunity to experience the fabulous sunset! A perfect spot for couples to spend their romantic evening! We went back to the town for dinner. The Chinese restaurant interior as decorated with really weird creatures around the shop. You see snakes, ……. The different thing about restaurant in Taiwan is that they do not take an order for your drinks. It is a self service whereby you are required to take your own drink from the refrigerator as well as paper cups on your own. The local delicacies that we got from Dan Shui Village were metal egg- direct translation from Mandarin. It is black in colour and the size of a quail egg that comes in different flavour that could be eaten with rice or just like that!

Another problem that I encounter was I often confuse myself when it comes to payment. For example, while bargaining for price, instead of asking for 100 Yuen which is equivalent to RM10. I ended up asking for 10 Yuen due to the currency exchange! Also, when I paid 100 Yuen for an item that cost me 70 Yuen, the cashier return me 30 Yuen in coins. I was wondering why she just returned to me 30 sen instead!

Sanitary pad?!?!
Nah!! Its Sanitary CANDY FLOSS!!!

Away

It was a gloomy Monday morning for me, another friend of mine left this morning. Though when he was around, we did not meet up often, but we always find time to catch up with each other. Also, we were always being very supportive to each other.

ALL THE BEST TO YOU!

We Shall meet in one year time. In a whole new place, a whole new you and I!

Day 2 In Taiwan

Day two morning was also back to class, was better as compare to day one, as it was rather dry! The pic is I with other 2 Taiwanese Student. They lead told us where is a must go places. Exchange contact numbers.
You can actually easily hook and chat with them!
I personally think the guy in the middle is cute.
Did you realize that since the earlier i didnt state anyone name?
Haha!
Guess what, i can barely remember their name.

The Guy that i remembered his name is the guy in blue shirt is Camel.

Introducing some of their local delicacies:

Clockwise direction: Taiwanese Octopus Sausages, oyster mee sua, eel, taiwanese sausages ( It is MUCH bigger than the one you saw at your neighbourhood night market) and lastly, orh jien ( notice the sauce, i have no idea what is that, but it taste superb along with the oyster with egg!)

beef noodles is tantalizing! Even the meat is also tender!:)
On the bottom left, is how food that are packed. It is always in paper box.
and of course, the milk tea!

They offer 2 sizes of of the bubble, the one we get from Malaysia is the big one.
One thing for sure, the small 1 taste much better than the Big one.
Oh ya, the bubble milk tea bought from Malaysia have pretty little bubbles in it.
The one u get from Taiwan, after finishing the drink, the bubble have so much more left!
It is actually too much until you throw them away:(

Next, we headed over to FRANZ where they produce porcelain.
Look at those exquisite pieces, How i wish i could afford them :)
We were shown those pieces that are not even found in the market yet!
Such a perfect gift for mum's day!

Once broken, considered sold!

What i would say that, Taiwanese don't speak fluent English, even those who are working.
At times, They even make a fool of themselves without realizing.
Those who went for the Taiwan trip would definately know what i mention here.

See how they work, not easy okay.
Unfortunately, this time around, we do not have the chance to experience our own:( like the ceramic!

Proud to Share

Here i have 2 great news about myself to share: (a) Year 2008 Sem 1 results

The minute i saw, I felt such a big relieve and it really reflect on the effort that I put in.
Yes, It motivate me to work further for my upcoming sem!

(b) Im Loving it! I'm Loving into my Taiwan Trip!

Thou, it was a rather short trip- Only 8 days. To be exact exlcuding the arrival and departure day it is only 6 in exact!
Everything started where you don't know each other. Yes i sign up this subject not knowing my room mates, and anyone else except for Choong Yow.

A brief about the whole trip:
We arrive on the 30th of June 9 pm. Nothing much can be done, so we hunt for supper around our hotel. Though it look really awful, or just like another cup of milk tea or coffee. Sorry you're wrong than!
a very special drink i would like to share with you, a mixture of Glutinous rice with peanut is being grained together.'

Day 1 -Lecture in Fu Jen Catholic University

The compound of the college is huge! Real Huge! As to compare to Metropolitan College, I think they are bigger than Metropolitan 10 times.
They even have roundabout in the school compound
So imagine that on your own!

As usual, boring lectures and sleeping students in class.
What else?
Yupe, portraying a very bad image of Malaysian Student.

I felt rather sorry, don't worry I am not once of those lazy pigss.
Have lunch in the uni, take a look at one of their classrooms' ceiling
Very unique indeed. I believe it does inspire the student to study better than our plain classroom!

From left: Myself, Professor Juliana French from Metropolitan College and, Fu Jen Uni Student

I would definitely say, Taiwanese are really friendly.
Read along and find out!

This are the petrol station that you find around in Taiwan. I don't see Shell, nor Esso.

On that very afternoon, we visited the Ying-Ge Ceramic.
One of the places that I would definately rate fun because you are not only brought around to see the ceramics made but of course, to experience yourself making your own one!

Guess what, the ceramic is with me now!
I practically brought the whole thing back.
yupe, i know its not that pretty after all, but i wanna get it burn so that i could keep it.
I'm really proud about my own art work!:)

Unfortunately, before i could even carry it back. The castle outer layer prick off!
i didn't glue them properly!!!:(

I just love the experience. Watching how Danny without any craftwork skills really make me laugh crazily!
It was because of that brought us together and get to know each other too!

Scrolling down the street, I realize that 7-eleven is at every corner of the street how convenience is that!
Their 7-Eleven is way different that ours.

Offering so many different types of drink, the papaya milk is one of my favorite drink!
But their pricing is way higher than ours.
The papaya milk each cost RM3.50!!!

Dinner was great, people sitting at my table practically didnt know how to cook.
So we keep observe the table next to us,
What they put, we put too! when they take out we take out ours too!
hahaha, damn silly!

We spent our night at Xi Men Ding, one of the favourite tourist spot.
It is crowded although it is a tuesday night.
Of course, it is shopping spree time!

The left pic, some passers by actually!
I know after telling you, i am goona sound damn 'sua ku' damn kampong
we asked him to snap a pic with us!
not only the two girls ( us), a big group of us.
Look at his hair! Damn funky wei.
Doubt u couldn't find him anywhere in Malaysia!

The right pic, a group picture of us Blocking the street of Xi Men Ding!

F-- R - I - E - N - D - S

It was after some time, i mean a long long time.
since we last spoke to each other.

We are now all grown ups, and much mature as to compare to last time.
as the conversations goes, i felt rather relieve and started flashing back on how childish i could be.

We tend to bump into each other in college yet never even a word of 'hi' for freaking 2 1/2 years.
What i could remember was, i only did approached you while I'm having a food fiesta in conjunction with the merdeka festival to get u to purchase my tickets. and you did !

Thanks!

I'm really glad that things were over and we manage to get back into talking terms.
If it wasn't u who approach me, i think there will be no such changes.
Great of you having such guts and urge to make a step forward.
If it was me, I think i couldn't have do it.

I'm really happy and appreciate it that we could once talk again

Thanks a lot.

Food Review- Tony Roma's

Happy mom's day to all,
It's always a good excuse to go to dine.
and to get good food as well.

This year, we decided to go out on the eve instead,
even thinking so hard on where to head to,
instead of the star of the night- mum to decide where to eat.
IT WAS ME who decide!!!!

hahaha!!! i think it should be mun mun's day!

Tony Roma's was my choice. I always wanted to try out since after doing a presentation on Tony Roma's without trying them.
The assignment is not about promoting food, don't worry!
It is more of their marketing strategy!

As far as i'd heard of, and even saw people posting on their onion loaf!
i decided to have them.
Dad ordered the GIANT ! i really meant it! in SIZE!

Onion Loaf

We couldn't even manage to finished it up, worst, we were like small kids, spilled all over the table. It was really crispy

Rate: 7.5/10

my choice of the night- grilled lamb

one word- superb! Unlike some other places, there will be a stench of smell of the lamb where u go yucks! I asked for the mint sauce but didnt manage to used it as the original taste was fabulous. As seen from the pic, the plate were a lil oily, but as u bite it u feel the juice of the lamb and the tenderness of the meat. Did i say, you dont feel the oil sticking all over your mouth!
It was done medium well. The broccoli was fine, not tasteless nor salty.

Rate:8.5/10

St. Louis Rib Sampler

Perfect for two as it is served in a dozen
This dish is served in 4 different sauce, taste them all!
Thou it is a little pricey, but i would say definitely worth it

Rate: 9/10

Sis choice-Sirloin Cheddar Grille

For huge eater with big mouth to stuff everything at once!
A balance diet that comes with vege in it.
Somehow, the beef is not as tasty as the beef ribs.

Rate: 6/10

visit them and bring your sister along from Monday to Wed.
Kids eat free!!!

Oh their Lemonade totally different from the one u get from Chilli's or so.
It is totally fresh!!'
Unfortunately, It is not bottomless.
i would say that they are good, better, best!! as to compare to San Francisco Steak House, Chiilis, or TGIF.

Try it!!

Unexpected Experience

After taking my shower, the usual routine of applying toner and moisturizer on my face. Also, some eye cream to reduce my HUGE eye bag!!

Felt so refreshing while walking down the stairs with my right hand holding the dirty to be sent for laundry. As soon as i reached the kitchen, kakak told: mun telepon bunyi tadi!!

oh, got a missed call from Regina, returned her call immediately and she crack the bad news to me that she met with an accident in Taman Desa. Of course, i immediately rushed to get changed and 'zooommm'' i went.

Oh my. It was bad, really bad. the front part of the car was smashed up i would say. Phew... did i say it wasnt regina's car?

Regina's car was just dented at the front right corner. Not as bad as the Proton Wira.

The driver wasnt very pleasant to me , looking scary and in-corporative.
Say me racist i wont deny, maybe because he was an Indonesian man
i would say that at that time both of us were just totally blank.
The man was rather demanding, requesting to used regina's phone. yet refuse to give us his details as requested.

At this moment, there are young smart looking chinese man came out form his black myvi running towards our direction! YUp! we knew, it was the tow car man!

He was kind enough, helping us to fought with the Indonesian man by asking him to provide us with his details which he earlier refuse to.
The chinese guy than scare the Indonesian guy further after realizing that his car road tax has already expired for 2 freaking years!!!!

What we did was just standing aside as though we were the passers by.

after awhile, the whole gang of the tow car man came. In four different cars, can you imagine the crowd at that time.
they all started going after the Indonesian man. n the indonesian man tried to run away by driving the car away.
The tow car gang pulled him out from the car and slam the door, refusing to allow him to get back into his car.

he tried to walk further from us and manage to run away on foot!

AHAHA can you imagine that?

***

Apparently, the Indonesian guy came back after to claim the car with his friends.
While, the tow car gang are still hanging around that area!!!
nono, no more fighting this time.
Regina was called up to return to the place and was accompanied by daddy and Aaron.
Things were than settled.

It was really dramatic jsut like those u watch in series or movies.
U will not know how it feels like until u experience it yourself!

:)

Just the way i want it to be

Horray!!!!

Mid semester was over, just completed my last assignment to hand in later by 5pm.
A BIG relieved,
After attending college and uni,
this was my very first time i prepare thing in such a RUSH!

Sis were back,
only realize after she flew back to Glasgow that exams and assignment are just in another week to go!
Starting panicking, the usual me for those who knows me pretty well.
Instead of indulging myself with the non stop continuous shopping,
called a stop to stop by and spend some time, i mean MORE time on my books.

Remembered that before entering the exam hall for Marketing communication test,
a classmate of mine, came forward and question about the exam syllabus!
i gave him a big stare and said" don't ask and don't test me anything, i dont wanna know how much i know and how much i dont know!"

his intention was to scare me as he sees me standing still aside without any reaction! haha

Flip open the test paper, OH GOD!!!
I CAN"T EVEN attempt THE FIRST QUESTION!
the blood in my body is gushing so quickly that i could not even read the question properly.
sitting in the air conditioned room, hands are getting sweaty.
this feeling only last after i'd completed the first page.

I found myself liking more LAW ( marketing) 245 subject more and more!
credits goes to Chris who patiently taught me during my last sem for LAW100.
It was how perfectly the law were set up in Australia to protect us the consumer!
Unlike, our persatuan pengguna here which i hear no news about them.
ACCC was so professional and by scrolling through their new releases,
you could see how much effort they have put in to help the people there.
It's Fabulous Interesting!!!

gonna get a good rest for this weekend and of course,
continue rolling the ball for my campaign work.
Hopefully, the mid semester results could make me be proud of myself.

The happenings during the Weeks

Pick my elder sis from KL Sentral.
Her luggage was huge and couldnt fit into my tiny boot of Myvi.
She slam to boot door hoping that it could be locked.

yup! we thought we did it.
unfortunately, it wasnt.
We only realize it when we arrived home.
holding on the door and reaching the 'click' sound.
no sound, but the door just manage to open up!!!
thanks god, it didnt flew away form the boot while the journey home.

she is like much smaller size than me now,
shorter than me
Muchhh skiiner than me.
standing next to her make me feels like a giant!!
ahaha!!

BUt!!! she eats more than me!
The portion is huge too!
how come am i in this size than??

Shabu Shabu for dinner was just so-so to me,
taste delicious but nothing so unique to me.

acompany sis for the next few days during the day as
all her friends are working now.

We had Shoppping Spree!!!! that what i love most!
but this time was different,
it was first time going out with sis and shez paying for all!!

What a good treat i haf!

Can u imagine how bad was i with recognizing road?
i wanted to bring her to pavillion.
After reaching the golden triangle,
i lost sense of direction!
Urm.... it was sis that directed me the way in the end!
Can u imagine how terrible was this as she was away from Malaysia for already 6 years!!
just that the last trip she came back was 2 years back.

The funniest moment was in Burberry.
Sis wanna buy me my fac pink collection of Burberry handbag
step into the boutique, look around
FOUND NONE!!!!

enquire around with their staff,
they answered " pink collection r, last few seasion already wor"
was the most most embarassing time.
look around.
didnt found any others as their current collection are brown brown 1

also encounter my first experience in Spa.
doesnt know how to enjoy.
have the feeling of oh i think its enough.
i dont need more.
aha!
definate feeling uneasy!!!
due to not knowing of how spa is acutally like.
sound noob i know.

i believe that as people grow old,
we only tend to learn and know how to treasure those around us.

Her this trip back make me realize about it.
Times flies, we are all young adults now.

Wondering what makes this started
causes havoc to me and only me.

It was me.
i started and n gottta end them too.

Metropolitan College

I dislike the METROPOLITAN Admin staff so Muchhh!!!!

She is so rude,
she is so harsh,
she talks as if you are three miles away from her,
She nag,
she is worst than Taylor's Admin!

Entering this new sem was a whole lotsa trouble!

WHY?

because i have a few credit transfered from taylors and therefore my subjects are not going according to the sem.
this means, i have some subjects from year 2 sem 2 and some fromyear 2 sem 1.
Yes, IT IS CONFUSING!!!

Until today,
Although i am attending classes already.
But in my blackboard in curtin websites, i'd still not enrolled for certain subjects.
I'm starting to get worried.

What if!!!!

all of sudden they stop me from entering class and tell me that i had not enroll for the subject?

The year of ratatouille

Happy Chinese New Year to all!!!

The atmosphere of Chinese New Year is getting lesser and lesser nowadays. Even the amount of people for the reunion dinner are getting lesser too.

It was a must for every Chinese New Year reunion to have steamboat.

It used to go at least two and the half round in order for everyone in the fa
mily to have as the table could not occupy so many of us.

This year, just a round table is sufficient as there are only TEN of us.

Aunty's family was not back,
3rd uncle and family is in US,

youngest uncle and family is in Thailand,
elder sister not around,
2nd uncle pass away a couple of years ago.

so now you could imagine how quiet it is.

look at the good side, i get to eat more!

The first thing that i would grab!!!
MORE ABalOne!!!

年年有余

Fish Maw

This year was a little different from last year, grandma decided not to use the electrical pot for steamboat instead going back to the olden days using charcoal.

Charcoal are insert into the hole in the middle.

After dinner, the young one's would help my grandma with the ang pow packaging.inserting money into the red packet. Each year, they wuold also say they wanna put in more into the red packet hoping that it would be theirs than!
Than, headed off to the temple for prayers. We pray until the clock struck 12. and queue up to get ang pow from the monk!

The monk is always the first one to give me ang pow.

Grandpa was too busy to pack angpow for us, the grandchildren.
Nono, it s not that he did not give us.
But instead of giving us angpow, he gave us cash and the red packet separately and was asked to pack it in by ourselves!!!

Have you experience this?

Than it was all the visiting visiting visiting.

We have Nasi Lemak, indian rice for dinner on during the celebration of Chinese New Year, which i believe that it does not happen to others.

Dont worry! WE lou Yee Sang too!

This is what Chinese New Year is in a multiracial country!
